PhD Program

NILOP is affiliated with PIEAS for PhD in Lasers and Semiconductor Physics. Apart from running its own program NILOP faculty also supervise/co-supervise the research students of MS/M.Phil and PhD of other public sector universities. Below is the list of courses NILOP offers at PhD level.

• In NILOP, the Graduate Program and Research Council (GPRC) has been formed to look after student's matters including their research projects.
• The GPRC will check the courses passed by the students during MS/M.Phil and will issue equivalence or exemption if the student has already cleared the required pre-requisite course/courses during MS/M.Phil studies.
• GPRC in consultation with supervisor will recommend the plan of study of each student.
